FitBikeCo’s MISFIT BALANCE has gone thru a few iterations since its introduction. It was a little on the big side, then a little on the small side, and now it’s dialed for an average sized rider with frame/fork geometry that works well. And thanks to a TIG welded steel frame/fork/handlebar it’s a real BMX bike, not a weird plastic toy. Although most of their little ones are dare-devils they’ve still done everything they can to make learning to shred as safe as possible. A vertical rear axle slot keeps the wheel in place even if loose. Domed axle nuts don’t cut like exposed axles, and grips with safety ends all help. To make installing a tire pump easier we’ve used curved valve stems.
